Certified Leadership Coach
As an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certified by the International Federation of Coaching (ICF), I work with both corporate and nonprofit leaders. My coaching journey began in 2017 at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), where I coached leaders and guided them through 360-degree assessment data and various self-assessment tools, challenging their assumptions and identifying professional development goals to help them be more effective.
Certified Corporate Trainer
Given my years facilitating leadership development programs at CCL, I design and lead interactive workshops for corporate and nonprofit organizations. I cover topics like giving effective feedback, building resilience, and socializing your vision throughout your company. And I cofounded, Keynotes for Leaders, to connect companies with other stellar trainers and speakers.
Certified Resume Writer
I’ve been critiquing and writing resumes since the Great Recession when I was doing my part to help connect my job-seeking friends with the right hiring managers. I’m proud to be a certified writer for Randstad RiseSmart to create resume, LinkedIn, and branding packages for their clients.
Marketing Professor & Published Author
I teach graduate-level marketing, branding, and social media courses for the Master of Public Affairs program at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. My focus in the classroom is the nonprofit sector, for which I recently published, Strategic Marketing for Nonprofits, an actionable guide filled with tips and tricks to implement marketing strategy and grow brand awareness.
Communications Strategist
Armed with an MBA from Wake Forest University, I work with solopreneurs to craft their stories for social media so they can grow audience reach and maximize impact. I consult with nonprofits on marketing, branding, and fundraising strategy. And I partner with organizations across a variety of industry sectors to increase understanding of communications best practices and enhance productivity of their teams.
